Workgroups

Many pharmacy professionals in Nevada want to work on certain projects or goals. As members identify what they are interested in (and during our yearly poll of members) the Alliance will try to connect members with common goals together. The Alliance will also try to identify experts or outside stakeholders that can help the members obtain their goal(s). If you have feedback, are interested in a topic, or would like to form a workgroup please contact the Executive Secretary.

DISCLOSURE: The purpose of the workgroups may or may not reflect the mission statement, purpose, and strategic plan of the Nevada Pharmacy Alliance. At no time shall the workgroups use the Nevada Pharmacy Alliance name to promote their agenda unless approved through the Board of Directors.

CPESN Workgroup

The CPESN Workgroup is focused on strengthening independent community pharmacy and expanding opportunities for pharmacists to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. The Community Pharmacy Enhanced Services Network (CPESN®) is a nationwide clinically integrated network of community pharmacies that works to improve patient outcomes while creating sustainable opportunities for pharmacies through enhanced clinical services, value-based care, and innovative payer partnerships. CPESN supports community pharmacies by helping them collaborate, demonstrate quality, and participate in programs that recognize and reimburse pharmacists for the care they provide. CPESN USA In addition to supporting CPESN initiatives, this workgroup serves as a forum to address the challenges and opportunities facing independent community pharmacies in Nevada. Topics may include reimbursement, PBM reform, value-based care, workflow innovation, clinical service implementation, legislative and regulatory issues, pharmacy ownership, and strategies to ensure the long-term sustainability of independent pharmacy practice. The workgroup is led by three independent pharmacy owners:
